Installation Instructions

Installation of Brian2 is sufficient for basic usage and C++ code generation feature in CxSystem. The instructions for Brian2 simulator can be found here. For using the GeNN code generation, use the following checklist:

• Install Nvidia Graphics driver
• Install CUDA Toolkit (Linux / Windows).
• Test one of the CUDA samples, e.g. device query.
• Install GeNN simulator
• Test GeNN by running an example mode.
• Install brian2genn frontend.
• Test brian2genn by running a sample code.
• Test a sample code of CxSystem
